DINSEN Cast Iron Pipes Complete 1500 Hot and Cold Water Cycles

Experimental purpose:

Study the thermal expansion and contraction effect of cast iron pipes in hot and cold water circulation. Evaluate the durability and sealing performance of cast iron pipes under temperature changes. Analyze the effect of hot and cold water circulation on internal corrosion and scaling of cast iron pipes.

Experimental steps:

Preparation phase

Check DS cast iron pipes, DINSEN CLAMP, and ensure that there are no cracks or damage.

Install thermometers, pressure gauges and flow meters.

Connect the hot and cold water circulation system to ensure good sealing.

As shown in the figure below:

Experimental operation:

Hot water circulation: Start the hot water system, set the temperature (93±2°C as shown in the figure below), and record the temperature, pressure and flow.

Cold water circulation: Turn off the hot water system, start the cold water system, set the temperature (15±5°C as shown in the figure below), and record the data.

Cycle alternation: Repeat the hot and cold water circulation multiple times (1500 times as shown in the figure below), and record the data each time.

Data recording:

Record the changes in temperature, pressure and flow for each cycle.

Observe and record the appearance changes of cast iron pipes, such as cracks or deformation.

Use corrosion detection equipment to evaluate internal corrosion and scaling.

End of the experiment:

Shut down the system and disassemble the equipment.

Clean the cast iron pipe, check and record the final state.

DINSEN cast iron pipes are known for their excellent durability and corrosion resistance. After testing its reliability under extreme temperature changes, DINSEN cast iron pipes successfully completed 1,500 hot and cold water cycle experiments, and focused on evaluating the durability of its surface paint. The paint performance of DINSEN cast iron pipes fully meets international standards.

DINSEN cast iron pipes showed excellent durability and corrosion resistance in the experiment, and its paint layer can still maintain excellent adhesion and surface integrity under extreme temperature changes. DINSEN cast iron pipes are suitable for long-term use in various harsh environments. Construction field: Suitable for hot and cold water pipe systems in high-rise buildings to ensure long-term stable operation. Industrial field: Suitable for pipe systems in chemical, energy and other industries, resistant to corrosion and temperature changes. Municipal engineering: Used in urban water supply and drainage systems, with the advantages of long life and low maintenance costs.

Through this experiment, DINSEN cast iron pipes have further consolidated and confirmed their leading position in high quality, providing customers with a more reliable choice.
