Horizontal Pipe Installation
- Bracket Support: Each 3-meter length of pipe should be supported by 2 brackets. The distance between the fixing brackets should be even and not exceed 2 meters. The length of the pipe between a bracket and a coupling should be no less than 0.10 meters and no more than 0.75 meters.
- Pipe Slope: Ensure the installation respects a slight fall of around 1 to 2%, with a minimum of 0.5% (5mm per meter). The bending between two pipes/fittings should not exceed 3°.
- Secure Fastening: Horizontal pipes must be securely fastened at all changes of direction and branches. Every 10-15 meters, a special fixing arm should be attached to a bracket to prevent pendular movement of the pipe run.
Vertical Pipe Installation
- Bracket Support: Vertical pipes should be fastened at a maximum distance of 2 meters. If a storey is 2.5 meters high, then the pipe needs to be fixed twice per storey, allowing for the direct installation of all branches.
- Wall Clearance: The vertical pipe should be fixed at least 30mm away from the wall to allow easy maintenance. When the pipe passes through walls, use a special fixing arm and a bracket at the bottom of the pipe.
- Downpipe Support: Install a downpipe support at every fifth floor (height 2.5 meters) or 15 meters. We recommend fixing it on the first floor.
