There are various types of pipe fittings in each pipe systems, serving different purposes.
Elbows/Bends (Normal/Large Radius, Equal/Reducing)
Used to connect two pipes, so to make the pipeline turn certain angle for changing the fluid flow direction.
- • Cast Iron SML Bend (88°/68°/45°/30°/15°)
- • Cast Iron SML Bend With Door (88°/68°/45°): additionally providing an access point for cleaning or inspection.
Tees & Crosses / Branches (Equal/Reducing)
Tees have a T shape to get the name. Used to create a branch pipeline to 90 degree direction. With equal tees, the branch outlet is the same size as the main outlet.
Crosses have a cross shape to get the name. Used to create two branch pipelines to 90 degree direction. With equal crosses, the branch outlet is the same size as the main outlet.
Branches are used to create lateral connections to a main pipe, enabling multiple pipe branches.
- • Cast Iron SML Single Branch (88°/45°)
- • Cast Iron SML Double Branch (88°/45°)
- • Cast Iron SML Corner Branch (88°): used to connect two pipes at a corner or angle, offering a combined change of direction and branching point.
Reducers
Used to connect pipes of different diameters, allowing a smooth transition and maintaining flow efficiency.
Misc.
- • Cast Iron SML P-Trap: used to prevent sewer gases from entering buildings by creating a water seal in plumbing systems, commonly installed in sinks and drains.
